Liverpool's academy chief, Alex Inglethorpe, is pleased to welcome Wiles to the team. Inglethorpe believes Wiles has the right experience and skills to help young players develop and reach their full potential.
Wiles has a strong background in coaching, with experience working with players of different ages and levels. He has worked with teams at Fleetwood and Blackpool, and has also had experience coaching in senior football at Salford.
In his new role, Wiles will work closely with Liverpool's Under 21 team coach, Rob Page, and will be assisted by Anthony Ryan. The whole Liverpool academy team is looking forward to working with Wiles and helping him develop players who can potentially join the first team.
