Paris Saint-Germain and French soccer star Kylian Mbappe are involved in a dispute over his contract and treatment during the 2023/24 season. Mbappe, the 26-year-old captain of the French national team, has filed a claim for 240 million euros in damages against PSG.Mbappe initially filed a complaint in June, alleging that he was treated unfairly by the club. He claims that he was made to train with players that the club was trying to release, and that he was not involved in team activities, including a pre-season tour of Asia.

Mbappe's situation is not an isolated incident, as several other footballers have reportedly faced similar treatment. The French players' union has also lodged a complaint about this practice.

After seven seasons with PSG, Mbappe left the club to join Real Madrid on a free transfer last summer. He currently earns a reported annual salary of 30 million euros.

During his time with PSG, Mbappe scored 256 goals in 308 games, but the club won the Champions League for the first time last season after he departed.
