“We want to finish the season on a high note,” Nunes said. “We're working hard to win all our remaining Premier League matches and qualify for the Champions League. When the FA Cup comes around, we'll give it our all to win it too.”
Nunes thinks winning the FA Cup would be a special achievement for him personally, but he knows the team hasn't done enough this season to guarantee it. “We need to step up our game and do better, especially next season,” he said.
Every week, City's players strive to win trophies, and Nunes believes winning the FA Cup would be a great way to end the season.
Nunes recognizes that City faces a tough opponent in Nottingham Forest, who have had an impressive season in the Premier League. “It'll be a different game at Wembley, a semi-final in the FA Cup,” he said. “We'll showcase our strengths, and I'm sure Forest will do their best too.”
Nunes praises Forest's manager, Nuno, and their talented young players, as well as their threat on both sides of the pitch and striker Chris Wood's goal-scoring abilities. “They have a great team, and we need to be at our best to win,” Nunes said.
